The Chain That Changes Everything: The Case for Unification

The Chain That Changes Everything: The Case for Unification

The Chain That Changes Everything: The Case for Unification

A bicycle doesn't give you more muscle. It takes the effort you already have and multiplies it, through nothing more than a simple chain. Your campus safety systems work the same way.

A bike, two wheels, two pedals, a seat. You can still push it forward. But with that one connecting piece, your chain, the exact same effort turns into real speed.

That's exactly the gap most school campuses are standing in today. The cameras are already mounted. The door access system is already installed. The PA system already reaches every hallway. The phones are already in every teacher's pocket. None of that changes. What's usually missing is the chain, the unifying solution that connects all of it so it moves together, instantly, the moment it matters.

"911 HALO is the chain. It connects the cameras, doors, PA, and phones you already own into a response measured in seconds, not minutes."

You Already Own Your Systems

Cameras — Already watching every hallway and entrance.

Access Control — Already locking and unlocking every door.

PA System — Already reaching every classroom and field.

Mobile Devices — Already in every staff member's pocket, no app to install and no password to remember.

Same Systems. Different Speed.

Without the chain: Each system works alone. Someone has to notice, call, describe the location, and wait for someone else to act on it.

With 911 HALO: A 911 call anywhere on campus instantly shares caller ID, precise location, live camera feeds, and door access with responders.

Why Unification Is the Multiplier

  1. Nothing new to buy. 911 HALO connects the cameras, doors, PA, and phones you've already invested in, it doesn't replace them.
  2. Coverage beyond the building. Fields, parking lots, and grounds are covered too, not just what's inside four walls.
  3. First responders arrive already informed. Secure mobile access to doors, live camera feeds, and floor plans, before they even step inside.
  4. One system, every scenario. Built for the full safety plan: active threats, fire, severe weather, medical emergencies, and drills.
  5. Affordable. After implementation, your system is licensed with an annual fee at the lowest price for purchase on your AEPA contract.

Every Second Counts: Webinar Recap, Q&A, and the Full Recording

Every Second Counts: Webinar Recap, Q&A, and the Full Recording

Thank you to everyone who joined SAS HALO for our national AEPA webinar, “Every Second Counts: How Schools Are Cutting Emergency Response Time from Minutes to Seconds.” If you couldn’t make it live, or want to watch it again, the full recording is now available.

What we covered

911 HALO connects the safety technology schools already own, cameras, access control, PA systems, and mobile devices, into a single, unified emergency response platform. Attendees saw a live demonstration of how a 911 call from anywhere on campus, including fields, parking lots, and grounds, instantly alerts staff with the caller’s identity and precise location.

Highlights:

  • Cutting emergency response time from minutes to seconds
  • Campus-wide 911 call awareness, not just inside the building
  • Real-time caller identification and precise location
  • Two-way communication with 911 dispatch and first responders
  • Secure mobile access for first responders to doors, live camera feeds, floor plans, and PA, before they even enter the building
  • Stronger coordination among school staff, dispatch, law enforcement, fire, and EMS

Your questions, answered

What does it cost? Integration with your existing applications, including PBX/phone systems, mobile, access control, cameras, and public address, is $12K, with an annual license cost of $8K.

Is there a minimum commitment? Yes, 36 months, extendable to 60 months at the same annual license cost after implementation.

Any cost to first responders? No. The web-based application is made available to them only during an active emergency.

Beyond active threats? Yes. We implement your deployment to meet any emergency in your school safety plan, including fire, severe weather, medical emergencies, evacuations, and drills.

Every Second Counts: Free Webinar on Cutting Emergency Response Time

Every Second Counts: Free Webinar on Cutting Emergency Response Time

When an emergency happens on campus, the first minute matters more than almost anything that follows. Who gets alerted. Whether they know exactly where to go. Whether first responders arrive already knowing the building’s layout, or find out when they get there.

SAS HALO is presenting a free, live national webinar showing how districts are closing that gap, connecting the safety technology they already own into one unified, affordable platform.

**What you’ll see in action:**
– Instant awareness the moment anyone calls 911, anywhere on campus, fields and parking lots included
– Precise caller location, indoors or out
– Secure mobile access for responders, doors, cameras, and floor plans, before they even enter the building
– Real-time coordination between school staff, dispatch, law enforcement, fire, and EMS
– More value from the systems already installed across the district, no rip-and-replace required

**When:** Wednesday, August 19, 2026, 1:00 PM ET, live online. Registration is free.

This webinar is presented nationally through your AEPA cooperative purchasing agreement.
